Each gardener is a human soul who had done evil in their life,and are now sent to the moon to toil for a century endlessly to repay their debt. They cut away the foliage, but as soon as they leave, the plants grow back almost immediately, making sure they have work the next day.

It’s a story of try, try, and trying again, how we go through our lives doing the same things over and over. But there is eternal beauty in hard work, and the process.
